Ok so Captain Hammer isn't getting his own show, but the man playing him Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Slither, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has revealed that a pilot he wrote has been picked up by ABC.

The comedy, whose working title is "Repo Brothers," follows 2 brothers who become repo men. The original story was inspired by an incident that had Fillion and Firefly Co-Star Alan Tudyk picking locks. In an interview last year with Europe's SFX Magazine Fillion said he had written the pilot and a couple of episodes of a TV show and hoped to eventually write and direct a movie. I guess we know know what the TV show is.

Fillion is one busy guy, he just wrapped Joss Whedon's indie project "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," He's currently co-starring on ABC's Desperate Housewives, and has recently worked on the movies Chilled in Miami & Trucker.
