Hey Kids, as most of you know Next Friday sees the release of the much anticipated Watchmen movie (I already have my ticket to see it on Saturday at the Drafthouse)

I wanted to give you the heads up that next week, NBC Networks will be airing never before seen exclusive Watchmen character profiles during the programming of shows on NBC, USA and SCIFI to gear up for the release.

You can see a short preview clip on NBC.com for a little taste of what's to come.

Also, below are some more specific details on exactly what character profiles will be airing when.
   * March 1 – Dr. Manhattan airs exclusively during “National Treasure” on USA Network.
   * March 2 – Rorschach airs exclusively during “Heroes” on NBC.
   * March 4 – Ozymandias airs exclusively during “Ghost Hunters International” on SCI FI.
   * March 5 – Nite Owl airs exclusively during “Battlestar Galactica” on SCI FI.
   * March 5 – Silk Spectre II airs exclusively during “Burn Notice” on USA Network.
   * March 5 – The Comedian airs exclusively during “30 Rock” on NBC.

Following their network airing, the clips will be available for viewing on nbc.com/watchmen.

So are you gearing up to see Watchmen?  Have you read the graphic novel?  If so will you be rereading it or going in fresh?  Let me know.

Travis,
This is definitely one of those movies I wish we could watch together. My wife would not be interested in this one (and she hardly ever goes to the movies anyway). I might have one member in the congregation who would like to see it, but I'm not sure this is one of those movies you invite your parishoner to see with you. Anyway, I have read the novel - and quickly realized how many other comics, movies, and tv shows then ripped it off - Heroes Season 1 ring a bell! There's a reason the graphic novel was on the Times Best 100 novels list for the past century.

Kenny,
I agree wish you were here to go with me and Grubbs to see it. (If you want to come down to Austin for two days and stay Friday night with us you're more than welcome to.
Plus the showings not sold out so you could go with us.
